Austin Dean Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and experienced Locum Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) to join our team on a temporary, flexible basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and history taking
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop, implement, and review treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Provide expert advice and education to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support clinical research
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration
- Master’s degree in Emergency Practice Nursing or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 months of experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in a UCC / A&E / OOH’s settings
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in managing complex cases and making informed clinical decisions
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
