Interim HR Advisor / Officer – Employee Relations Expert (Temporary Role)
Location: Wandsworth, London (Hybrid – 2 days in-office, 3 days from home)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
Duration: 3-month temporary contract
Pay: £22-£25 per hour (doe)
Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in Employee Relations? Our client, based in Wandsworth, London, is seeking an HR Advisor / Officer to join their team for a temporary 3-month contract. This role will support management in conducting investigations and managing employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and other workplace matters.
- Provide expert guidance to management on employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
- Draft clear and concise investigation reports and recommendations.
- Support managers in preparing and managing disciplinary hearings and grievance meetings.
- Advise on performance management processes and strategies.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies to enhance workplace culture and legal compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in employee relations and conducting investigations.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best HR practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with employees, managers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
