Austin Dean Recruitment, a leading name in healthcare staffing, is proud to announce the launch of a brand-new Domiciliary Care Division based in Loughton, Essex. We are now looking for a Registered Manager to lead this new chapter — someone who is ready to shape a service from the ground up, with full autonomy and the backing of an experienced, reputable healthcare organisation.
The Opportunity:
This is more than a managerial role, it’s your chance to drive vision, growth, and innovation. As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of the domiciliary care service
- Oversee CQC registration, inspections, and compliance
- Design and deliver a high-quality, person-centred care model
- Drive business growth by building partnerships and relationships with stakeholders and local authorities
- Recruit, develop and retain a passionate team of care professionals
- Develop risk assessments and care planning procedures to ensure safe, effective service delivery
- Play an active role in emergency cover and on-call duties as required
- Collaborate closely with our head office teams (HR, finance, compliance) to ensure smooth operations
Who We’re Looking For:
You are a confident, entrepreneurial leader who is passionate about raising standards in home care. You thrive in building services from the ground up and are motivated by results and impact.
Essential Criteria:
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Current registration as a CQC Registered Manager
- Experience managing a domiciliary care service rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC
- Strong experience in business development and service growth
- Proven ability to lead and inspire care teams
- Excellent knowledge of CQC compliance, safeguarding, and data protection (GDPR)
- Strong community networking and stakeholder engagement skills
- A genuine commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care

Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Managing care planning, rotas, and shift coverage
- Conducting staff supervisions, training, and compliance checks
- Ensuring full documentation and record-keeping aligns with GDPR and CQC standards
- Assisting with on-call rota and providing cover during emergencies
- Liaising with families and professionals to maintain continuity of care
