As a Clinical Fellow, you will support the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions. You will work closely with an experienced team of consultants, SpRs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care to haematology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in daily ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
- Assist in the management and treatment of haematological conditions, including but not limited to leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
- Ensure all patient records are completed accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to NHS Trust policies and protocols.
- Contribute to teaching and training sessions for junior doctors and other healthcare staff.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to help maintain and improve service standards.

Person Specification:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practise in the UK.
- MBBS or equivalent MRCP (UK/I) or equivalent
- Completion of Core Medical Training (CMT) or equivalent.
- General medical experience of 24 months
- Previous experience of haematology at SpR level
- Experience or strong interest in clinical haematology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety.
- Organised, with the ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
- Willingness to engage in teaching, clinical audits, and research.
