Are you an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist looking for a rewarding opportunity in Northern Ireland? We are currently recruiting on behalf of our NHS client for a 12-month locum position in a supportive and progressive mental health service.
Role Overview:
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary team. This position involves the assessment and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs. Clinical duties include ward rounds, MDT meetings, supervision of junior doctors, and liaison with internal and external services.
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practise
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry (or eligible within 6 months)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience at Consultant level
- Section 12 approval and AC (Approved Clinician) status desirable
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Right to work in the UK
